  • The topic ideas under “Learn about anything” are better picked — fewer obscure, jargon-y suggestions and fewer bare one-word subjects, so the row leads with things that are interesting and easy to recognize, with the occasional fun hobby mixed in.
  • The quick check between lessons is now part of the lesson itself — when you reach the end, the questions are right there on the page (already loaded), instead of sliding up as a separate panel.
  • Podcasts and comics you make are now kept in your Saved list — open one any time to listen or read it again, no waiting to remake it. Each player also has a bookmark you can tap to keep or remove it.
  • Quizzes and tests ask sharper questions now — more “use what you just learned” than “recall a definition”, and the wrong answers are built from the mistakes people actually make, so a test feels less generic and the right answer is harder to guess.

  • Long study titles now show in full on the study overview and on shared links — they wrap onto extra lines instead of being cut off with a “…”.
  • Passing a lesson’s quiz now counts the lesson as completed — your study progress, streak, and first-lesson artwork all recognize it.
  • Every new study now starts with an instant cover design in its own color scheme — the full illustrated artwork is drawn once you finish your first lesson, arriving as a little reward for getting started.
  • Quiz and test answers now land on a different letter every time — the right answer no longer hides at A or B, so you can’t pattern-match your way through.
  • Concepts you’ve proven now show up reliably in your Wisdom collection — answering questions right on the final test counts too, and the quick quizzes between lessons now credit the exact concepts they check.
  • Underlined concepts in lessons are calmer: a key term is underlined only the first time it appears, and the subject of your study is no longer underlined at all — you’re already learning about it.
  • Shared study links now show a cover design right away, so friends opening your link no longer stare at a blank banner while artwork loads.
  • Study cover art and avatars load much faster everywhere — images are now served at the right size for your screen instead of at full resolution, cutting their weight by up to 98%.
  • The lesson breakdown on a study page now starts fully collapsed, so you can scan the whole outline at a glance — tap any lesson to peek at its details.
  • The “You’re here” marker on a study’s lesson list now appears only once you’ve actually started — a study you haven’t opened yet shows a clean outline.
  • Lesson time estimates are more honest — a lesson now suggests at least 4 minutes (more at higher difficulties), covering the reading, the check-in, and the quiz rather than just the reading.
  • The lesson header is lighter: the “you know more than X% of people” line now lives only on the study overview, not above every lesson.
  • The back button in a lesson now retraces your steps — to the lesson you were just on, then the study page, then wherever you came from — instead of dropping you out of the study.
  • Quizzes and tests have a cleaner, calmer look — every answer now carries a lettered key (A, B, C, D), and your pick turns green when it’s right or red when it’s wrong. It’s the same across the quick check between lessons, the certificate test, and “test my understanding”.
  • Difficulty badges are now color-coded — a soft green-to-red scale that shows a study’s level at a glance, from Novice through PhD, on the study page, lessons, and your profile.
  • Reach the end of a lesson and the chat box turns into one “Test what I’ve learned” button — it opens the quick quiz on your way to the next lesson, or the final test once you’ve finished the course. Tap “Back to chat” to keep asking questions.
  • On a lesson, the suggested follow-up questions now sit above the “Go deeper” links.
  • The quick check before a new lesson now has a subtle “Skip to next lesson” link, so you can move on without answering.
  • Opening a study from your feed or saved items now says “Start learning” or “Continue learning” — matching the study overview you land on.
  • Invite friends straight from your feed — a card near the top shares your personal invite link, and each friend who joins earns you free days of Premium plus bonus comics & podcasts.
  • Not signed in? Settings now shows an “Invite code” row under Account — a reminder that signing in unlocks free Premium for inviting friends.
  • The button under your lesson list now reads “Ask for lesson changes” — a clearer invite to chat your way to a different set of topics.
  • The study overview page got a redesign: a slimmer cover so your lessons show up without scrolling, your goal and difficulty moved up top, the lesson list is now “Lesson breakdown”, and the glossary is “Concepts you’ll learn”.
  • The study page header now shows your teacher’s avatar wrapped in a progress ring, the lesson count, and how much you know on the topic — and a Configure button opens one place to set the difficulty, set your goal, or remove the study.
  • Every concept on a study’s overview now has its own ⋮ menu — save it for later, test yourself on it, or go deeper, just like concepts in chat.
  • Each lesson now opens with the same banner as your study overview — your teacher’s avatar in a progress ring over a topic cover, the title and difficulty, and how much you know — with the lesson you’re on shown just below.
  • Scrolling through a lesson now shows a “Back to Home” button at the top, next to your progress — with a soft fade behind the row so it stays readable over the text.
  • The progress pill that follows you while reading now opens a list of every lesson — tap it to jump straight to any one.
  • The lesson menu is leaner: one “Configure” option now opens your study’s overview — where difficulty and your goal live — replacing the separate rows.
  • Opening Configure from a lesson and then tapping Back now returns you to that lesson, instead of leaving the study.
  • Topics you haven’t set up yet now show “Setup 1st lesson” on their card and take you straight into setup — instead of back to the topic search page.

  • The Studies tab on your profile is now called Lessons — same place, clearer name.
  • No photo? You still get a face — every account now starts with its own colorful portrait avatar, and it follows you when you sign in on another device.
  • The certificate exam is now called the certificate test — simpler and less intimidating, same diploma at the end.
  • Podcasts, comics, and read-aloud no longer pick up stray formatting codes from your chat — narration is clean prose now.

  • Going back from a brand-new study now returns you to where you started, instead of replaying the setup screens.
  • Key terms now unlock by proving them — answer a question on a concept correctly and it lights up with a green check, with a “+1 key term” moment right on the quiz.
  • The Wisdom tab now shows only terms you’ve truly proven — a trophy case of what you’ve demonstrated, not a reading list.
  • Your teacher now remembers what you’ve proven and builds on it instead of re-explaining — and your final test gently re-checks the things you once missed.
  • Lessons now stick to one consistent vocabulary — later lessons reuse the exact terms earlier ones taught instead of drifting into synonyms.
  • Tell your tutor you already know something and your study outline quietly skips the basics of it — no confirmation needed.
