What’s new

- Topics you haven’t set up yet now show “Setup 1st lesson” on their card and take you straight into setup — instead of back to the topic search page.

- The Studies tab on your profile is now called Lessons — same place, clearer name.
- No photo? You still get a face — every account now starts with its own colorful portrait avatar, and it follows you when you sign in on another device.
- The certificate exam is now called the certificate test — simpler and less intimidating, same diploma at the end.
- Podcasts, comics, and read-aloud no longer pick up stray formatting codes from your chat — narration is clean prose now.
- The glossary on a study’s overview page is now called “Concepts to learn”, with a cleaner look — no more lock icons next to terms you haven’t proven yet.
- Tell your teacher how you like to learn — “more code examples”, “fewer analogies” — and it remembers, across every study: chat adapts right away and new lessons follow suit. See, add, and remove preferences in Settings → How I like to learn.
- Switching tabs on your profile is now instant, and moving between pages got noticeably snappier.
- Your teacher now marks the key ideas in every chat reply — tap one to see what it means, save it, test yourself, or go deeper into it, even when the idea goes beyond your study’s key terms.
- Back buttons across lessons, studies, and info pages now return you to the page you came from.
- Key terms now get clearer, more specific names — each one makes sense on its own when you revisit your list later, instead of vague one-word labels.
- Key terms your teacher mentions in chat are now quietly underlined — tap one for its definition, save it for later, test yourself on it, or jump to its source.
- The back arrow when starting a new study now returns you to the page you came from.
- Going back from a brand-new study now returns you to where you started, instead of replaying the setup screens.
- Key terms now unlock by proving them — answer a question on a concept correctly and it lights up with a green check, with a “+1 key term” moment right on the quiz.
- The Wisdom tab now shows only terms you’ve truly proven — a trophy case of what you’ve demonstrated, not a reading list.
- Your teacher now remembers what you’ve proven and builds on it instead of re-explaining — and your final test gently re-checks the things you once missed.
- Lessons now stick to one consistent vocabulary — later lessons reuse the exact terms earlier ones taught instead of drifting into synonyms.
- Tell your tutor you already know something and your study outline quietly skips the basics of it — no confirmation needed.
- Studies you haven’t started yet now show what’s waiting for you — how much of the world you’ll be ahead of once you finish.
- Study cards on your profile now have a “Start lesson” / “Resume lesson” shortcut that drops you straight into your next lesson.
- Every diploma now has a ⋮ menu — jump back into its study, start a deeper study on the topic, or remove it.
- Diplomas got a beautiful new look — your study’s picture, how far ahead of everyone you are, and a matching certificate image when you share or download.
- Key terms you reveal now stick — they no longer occasionally disappeared from the Wisdom tab after a reload.
- Tapping a term in the Wisdom tab now shows its definition and the lesson it came from, right above the actions.
- The Wisdom tab now opens with a one-line summary of your progress — how many terms you’ve collected and diplomas you’ve earned.
- Your feed now helps you remember: a few days after you finish a lesson, a quick review question appears at the top of your feed — answer it right on the card. Get it right and it comes back later for a deeper check; miss it and it returns sooner, plus you earn XP for every correct review.
- Terms you’ve learned now show as colorful glassy pills — each tinted to its study, with its study’s picture and a green check once you’ve proven it. Tap a pill for its actions.
- The Diplomas tab now greets you with a friendly graduation-cap illustration while you work toward your first diploma.
- The Terms / Diplomas switcher in the Wisdom tab is now one sliding control, with a count of what’s inside each.
- Skill areas now show your progress as a colored ring around their icon — stars stay on the individual skills inside each area.
- New studies now ask “Why are you studying this?” while your lesson builds — answer (or tap a suggestion) and your lessons, questions, and test shape themselves around your goal. Skip it and you go straight to the lesson. You can add or change your goal any time from the study page.
- Your diplomas moved to the Wisdom tab on your profile — everything you’ve earned now lives in one place.
- Every lesson now ends with a “Go deeper” block — a few hand-picked sources and, when there’s a good one, the community where people doing this for real hang out.
- Key ideas in lesson text are now quietly linked to their reference articles — tap one to read more.
- This page! See what’s new in soclever, day by day — find it any time in Settings → Help.
- New FAQ page with quick answers about studies, pricing, and your account — find it in Settings → Help.
- Cleaner Settings: shorter sections, a “Request changes” button for feedback, and your invite rewards explained right in the Invite friends card.
- Quick quiz after each lesson — three questions check what stuck; pass to unlock the next lesson, or review what you missed and retake it.
- Edit your study outline: drag lessons to reorder, remove the ones you don’t need, or tell us what to focus on and we’ll rebuild the plan.
- Comics, podcasts, and infographics now keep generating while you keep learning — minimize them and a “ready” pill brings you back when they’re done.
- Comic and infographic buttons are available from the moment a lesson starts, just like podcasts.
- Your first lesson now includes a free taste of illustrated lessons — pictures woven into the teacher’s explanations.
- Pay-per-render works without an account — buy a single comic or podcast and it’s yours, no sign-in needed.
- Suggested-study chips got fitting icons for every category.
- Profile stats redesigned as a single card with your streak front and center — and your streak now starts counting from day 1, never 0.
June 10, 2026
- Sign in with Google or Apple — one tap, no email codes.
- Want just one comic or podcast? Generate a single one for $0.99 — no subscription needed.
- Diplomas and finished studies now show how you compare: “you know more than X% of people.”
- Tapping a study in the feed now shows a quick preview card before anything starts, so a stray tap never kicks off a study.
- Profile polish: colorful stat cards, an easier avatar editor, and a Diplomas section.
- New guides and comparison pages to help you decide if soclever is for you.
